Vacuum induction melting furnace is a furnace that adopts the metallurgical process of melting and forming ordinary steel, special steel, high temperature alloy, precision alloy, non-ferrous metal, permanent magnet rare earth material, industrial silicon and other materials under vacuum or protective atmosphere using the principle alternating electromagnetic field to obtain an eddy current of heat in the material being processed.
It is possible to add material to the furnace, measure the temperature, take a sample, melt, cast, cool and unload ingots under the condition of a non-destructive vacuum. It has the function of refining and mixing, which can achieve the homogenization of alloy composition, etc. This is an advanced and efficient modern metallurgical equipment.
